What’s the Story?

• The City tracks and analyzes collisions every other year as part of its Street Safety Plan.

• For that analysis, we prioritize collisions that involve pedestrians and bicyclists.

• Based on the collision analysis in the Street Safety Plan, we decide which safety projects we’ll build.

• Some recent safety projects include the State and East Bay Drive Safety Improvements project and the Boulevard Road Trail Crossing and Bike Corridor project.

• Two upcoming safety projects include the 4th Avenue and Plum Street Pedestrian and Bike Improvements project and the Martin Way Pedestrian Safety Improvements.
